About
I'm a second-generation Miami native who earned a high school degree from Miami's highly competitive magnet school, New World School of the Arts, and a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. My educational background is solidly visual arts with concentrations in painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture.
I moved to New York in 1997, where I was involved in hand-designing cover art, press kits, posters, and flyers for a New York City band. After receiving my flyers, an art director for Sports Illustrated for Kids magazine hired me as a design assistant, which started my career in graphic design.
I went on to work at an Interpublic/McCann-Erickson custom publishing agency, and some of the best-selling newsstand magazines in the country, including Us Weekly, The Knot, and People, as an art director (both freelance and staff). All the while on the side, I was designing children's books, including a multi-age "museum in a book" series for The Smithsonian and a poster-style book to accompany the theatrical release of the film The Chronicles of Narnia.

In 2010, I decided to go full-time independent. My experience broadened from editorial and books to branding, marketing, environmental design, and event branding and collateral.
Along the way, I've worked with clients ranging from media companies with b2b brands like The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard magazines to consumer brands like Ducati and Amazon.

I proudly serve on the advisory board of Los Angeles-based marketing, partnerships, and branding agency Aubry and Co.
My mission is to produce the boldest, most distinctive, innovative and strategized work I can for my clients. So if you're adventurous, understand the power of good design, and want to level up the visual aspect of your content or branding, I can help you.
